The old fence around our Kinigi Tailoring Centre was in more than bad shape. A new fence now provides protection and security, and has also become a great visual improvement.<\/strong><\/p>

Our Kinigi Centre, close to the Volcano National Park, is home to our training center for young unmarried mothers and, more recently, to a day care center and a professional kitchen with a covered dining room. Carefully built with the support of our sponsors and furnished in a functional but loving way, the center is full of life. Only the old fence had fallen into a bad state and was missing in some places.<\/p>

All options for a new fence were immediately explored. was asked for, permits were obtained from the authorities and sponsors were asked for support. The new fence had to be attractive and functional, strong and sustainable, but the cost had to be reasonable and affordable.<\/p>

The new fence has surrounded our center since mid-February. The young mothers and their children can prepare for their future in a safe environment and our facilities are reliably protected from unwanted visitors.<\/p>

We would like to thank all our sponsors, especially the German Embassy in Rwanda<\/strong>, who made a substantial donation to help us build the fence.<\/p>
