Leisure Center for Children and Youth from Vulnerable Backgrounds<\/strong><\/p>

Our Rwaza training center in Rwaza, Musanze<\/strong> can now also be used at weekends and is available to children and young people up to the age of 25 as a children\u2019s and youth center.<\/strong>\u00a0 Where primary school children are taught during the week and young women and girls are trained as tailors and craftswomen, the doors to our community library<\/strong> are now open at weekends. Every Sunday we offer reading programs<\/strong>, music lessons<\/strong> with various instruments, computer training<\/strong>, traditional and modern dance<\/strong> and community sports<\/strong>.<\/p>

Already the first weekend was a complete success, the response was overwhelming, and the children are eager to participate. Previously our training center was abandoned on weekends. Now we are delighted to open it to the local community through this important initiative. In a community where many households do not even have a single book, not to mention toys and sports equipment, the children and young people now have a meaningful and valuable opportunity to spend their free time in a way that will support their development.<\/p>

Depending on feasibility, we are also planning to open the center during the school holidays.<\/p>
