In the past year we could achieve a lot! In the last blog entry you could read about our achievements in the village Kabagorozi. We also did a lot of work in the Future For Kids \u2013 Muhisimbi Sewing Center in Kinigi. 45 young mothers with an unwanted pregnancy almost finished their one year education in tailoring. We are currently improving the child care and are building a space for the children for an improved childcare while the mothers have tailoring lessons. The goal of this project is to enable the mothers to get an education and to improve their confidence (they are outlawed by their families), so they are able to take care of themselves and their children and have the power to fight for their rights.<\/p>\n\n

Unfortunately the last year was also marked by global crisis. Apart from the COVID-Crisi and the war in the Ukraine the inflation rose a lot. Many people need to evaluate what to spend their money for. Unfortunately these circumstances also affect our actions and the willingness to donate sank dramatically. This is the reason why we are more dependent on the support of those who have the possibility to give. \nWith your support you insure that we can continue our projects for the kids in Rwanda as we did in the past.<\/p>\n\n

Christmastime is the time of calmness but also of meeting other people. Especially during the holidays many people meet their friends and family who they might haven\u2019t seen for the rest of the year. We would be happy if you could use this time of the year to tell your friends and family from our projects and our vision.<\/p>\n\n

Our Christmas fundraising campaign has the motto \u201cDonations instead of gifts\u201d.<\/strong> We would like to ask for your support. When implementing this fundraising campaign, you can let your imagination run wild: be it by collecting donations at a family Christmas party, giving a donation instead of a gift, or starting a fundraising appeal among your circle of friends and acquaintances. You also have the opportunity to start a fundraising campaign on our Facebook page. If you would like to give a donation as a gift, we can send you a Christmas-themed confirmation as a PDF if required.
